BLACK & RED RECORDS is an exciting new boutique record label based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Inspired by our passion for music and our involvement in the New Zealand music scene, Black & Red comes with the mission to create a family-like environment for our small roster of artists, working with each band/artist to spread their music and expand their exposure on both a local and global scale.

Founded under the partnership between Logan Swinkels of Logan Lights Creative and William Slingsby of B&R Entertainment, our combined involvement in the music industry is extensive. Collectively we have years of experience working with bands; whether it be through organizing shows, making music videos or being on stage in our own bands.

Through this, we have come to discover a significant gap in the market where young, hardworking and extremely talented bands appear to be skipped over by the bigger record labels, preventing their eligibility for NZ on Air Funding and receiving the exposure we believe they deserve.
